Things people ask before they sign up.

What's the difference between Cirrofy and Xero or QuickBooks?

Both start from accounting. QuickBooks adds sales orders, purchase orders and basic inventory on its higher tiers; Xero sells order and stock depth as an add-on. Cirrofy runs sales, purchasing, inventory and the ledger as one connected system, with every module included. If you've outgrown your accounting tool but don't want enterprise-ERP cost, that's the gap we built into.

Why should I choose Cirrofy over Odoo?

Odoo is capable. Its price is per user, so it grows with headcount; Studio, multi-company and external API access sit on its Custom plan; and larger deployments usually go through a partner. Cirrofy is self-serve, includes every module with no per-module upsell, and is free while in preview.

Can Cirrofy handle job-shop or project-based work?

Yes. Work orders track materials, work-center time and subcontracting against the price you quoted, so you see the real margin on every job. Job orders run project-style work with its own budget, billing and margin. Bills of materials and production planning aren't built yet.

Can I invoice and buy in more than one currency?

Yes. Invoices, bills and orders can be in another currency, and each keeps its exchange rate and the amount in your home currency. Automatic gain-and-loss posting isn't built yet. Recurring billing raises repeat invoices on a schedule.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your data is yours. A few reports export to CSV today. Before paid plans launch, we'll publish exactly how a full-workspace export works and how long you have to take it.

How long does setup take?

A short setup wizard creates your workspace, seeds a standard chart of accounts, and loads tax rates for your country. Bulk import isn't self-serve yet — during preview, we'll help you bring your data in.

Can I import from my current system or spreadsheets?

Bank statements import from CSV today. Bulk import for customers, products and opening balances isn't self-serve yet; during preview, we'll help you move your data. Direct importers for other systems are on the roadmap.

Is my data secure?

Each workspace’s data is isolated in the database by row-level security. Access is role-based, with separate permissions to approve. The database is backed up automatically every day. Connections to the database are encrypted, and sensitive fields are encrypted at rest. Uploaded files are stored in Cloudflare R2, encrypted at rest.
